Quick Mention from Gotham Writers Workshop

I've mentioned Gotham Writers' Workshop several times in this blog, and it's one of the few online writing classes that I recommend. I wanted to share this email from Andre, the President. Now, remember, you can get most of the same information here for free, but if you're looking for personal attention and a teacher-student environment, and are able to pay for it, Gotham is the way to go!

Gotham Writers' Workshop is proud to present a five-week "How to Freelance" seminar in collaboration with the New York Times Knowledge Network. The course is taught online by a professional freelancer and includes a week-long Q&A with an editor from The New York Times.

The school also offers 11-week workshops in collaboration with the New York Times Knowledge Network in Article Writing I, Travel Writing, and Advanced Article Writing.

These workshops focus on the writing and selling of nonfiction magazine and newspaper articles (print and online) and incorporate many of the features that garnered Gotham "Best of the Web" status from Forbes, including: expert instruction, small class size, weekly lectures and engaging writing exercises.

New class sessions begin throughout the year. Early enrollment is advised as class size is strictly limited.
