You Should Try Eavesdropping

Wednesday April 2, 2008

I returned from Florida late last night; I was there for my brother's wedding. Taking my 80-something year old Grandma into theme parks with the rest of the family afforded me an opportunity to sit around and people watch with her while my kids were on the rides. I picked up so many snippets of "real" dialogue, not to mention ideas for articles and blog posts. I think I may make eavesdropping my new hobby! It's not just for fiction writers anymore!
