A Content Management System, or CMS, is a software or internet system that allows writers, companies, and websites to manage, upload, edit, and/or curate their content, such as articles, ebooks, and/or blog posts. Wordpress is a typical CMS for bloggers.
Freelance writers should understand the basics of CMS, as many potential clients will prefer/expect their writers to submit copy directly on certain systems.
