The Bottom Line

Good to browse, not to peruse. Put it on your freelance writing job search list due to the fact that these are not relisted jobs.

Pros

  • When you click, the job is opened directly in the Write Job's site
  • Write Job is not a relister- these are fresh, unique jobs placed directly on their site

Cons

  • Many location based jobs
  • Not very many jobs

  • No fee.
  • No registration required.
  • Also provides a "writers on call" area where you can list your profile.

Guide Review - Website Review - Review of Write Jobs Website

Write Jobs is a part of the Writer's Write network, which also hosts sites such as BloggersBlog and ReadersRead. Write Jobs focuses on journalism, media, publishing, technical and medical writing jobs, meaning it runs the gamut! They charge an employer $75 to post a job at this printing, while writers use the site for free.

Write Jobs provides an excellent sort feature in which you can focus just on telecommute jobs (or etc.), and is easy to navigate and visually appealing.

Write Jobs should be one of your daily or weekly freelance writing jobs visits, mainly because competition can be highly reduced, as these jobs are unique and not relisted. In addition, an employer willing to post a job for $75, when many other sites will do so for free, is likely to pay its writer well.

This site rarely posts anything that hasn't been found elsewhere and is usually dated. Also, postings such as Suite 101 and Demand Studios are not jobs but places that can get you writing work at very low fees. These can also be found everywhere.
