The Bottom Line
Although this site isn't meant to compete with other writing jobs sites, it does serve up a real gem of a job now and then- but not often enough for the busy freelancer to put it on their daily or weekly search list. Those freelancers who are also versed in editing may have more luck.
Pros
- Some big name employers
- Great networking opportunities
- Well organized
Cons
- Locale based
Description
- No fee
- No registration required
- Includes editorial and writing jobs
Guide Review - Website Review - Review of ASBPE's Job List
Of course this is a site aimed at publications editors, which are often full time, on site jobs, however since this service is free, and attracts some big names, it may be worth a look.
This easy-to-use list is chronologically arranged and provides the entire job listing in one fell swoop with a posting date, making for easy navigation.
Although this is a society for editors, and its instruction page notes it posts editorial jobs, there were 3 freelance writing (telecommute) jobs posted at the time of this review.
