I think you are way off in terms of the time to write a business plan. Unless of course you are simply pulling together and editing the information that someone has written. Getting all of the information from the client can take longer that you are figuring for the entire project.
Well, I did have to cut out “research” time for all these. So, I note that it’s basically JUST the composition part. And, you’re right, a lot will be up to how fast the client can gather data. And, given that most of the time they hire a writer because “I don’t have time to do it myself,” that’s not a good sign as to their responsiveness.
