Checklist for Finding Your Mistakes

Immediately after writing a piece, whether for web or print, the first thing I like to do is leave it. I love the feeling of pushing away from the desk and wandering off.  This helps the revision process later. But, sometimes I get antsy and fire off the piece without following this step, and I almost always regret it!
