Hi Allena,
Here’s my list, to add to yours:
1. Old envelopes for jotting down ideas (in the house) when I’m not near my computer.
2. Sneakers/running shoes, pen & paper – I get out every day. Some of my best ideas come from what’s happening in the neighborhood.
3. Phone. You alluded to this. I have a landline, so I can switch on my tape recorder for phone interviews. Cell phones are good for other reasons.
