Now YOU Can Review Books for About.com, too!

Sunday November 30, 2008

The cool techies here at the About.com network recently introduced a tool that allows you, the reader, to interact with the site. Anywhere that I've posted a review, you also have the chance to review the same product.

For example, in this list of the Top Ten Books for Writers, many of the titles also have a review written by me. You'll notice a blue box at the bottom of my review. By clicking on that box, you can write anything you want about the product.

Try it out! Other readers want YOUR thoughts! Agree with me- fine! Disagree- probably even better! Let me- and other writers- know which products are worth a second look. . . and which aren't!

Wow!Innovations really catch my attention. This new techie tool will allow us to interact, voice out, and be exercise our freedom to agree and disagree. I am currently working on a book report and it excites me every time I get something to write.

That’s funny… “innovations” leave me yawning, if I notice them at all.

“Invitations” catch my attention if I’m being invited to do something I enjoy. Like reviewing books! I usually write reviews for very different books though (sociology, anthropology, urban studies, etc). Now that I know the door is open to chime in, I will do so, as opportunity allows. Thanks!
