New #1 Question: "Where is the list of 101 freelance writing jobs?"

Sunday June 1, 2008

Happy Weekend Freelance Writers. Yes, yes, and yes I DO want to share 101 places to find freelance writing jobs with you- I really do. I know from your emails and comments that the prospect is a great one! But in all my research, I cannot figure out a way to move my 101 (Google) bookmarks into my interface here. Which means, it looks like I have hours of coding from scratch to do. I've also discovered that I need to break the list into parts of 10. Fun for all of us, hmm? Well, patience is a virtue I suppose. I hope I have a great reserve of it!

Meanwhile, make sure you visit the two existing lists, and get them into your personal system. The very first list of freelance writing jobs is here. The second list of freelance writing jobs is here.

There are freelance writers out there who appreciate all of your efforts. Your weekly newsletters are a great read.
Thanks!

I too find your column helpful. I am 51, currently outside the US, and nearing retirement from my 30+ year career in the Foreign Service. During my career, my writing skills have been highly regarded and reviewed and my current boss suggested I investigate making a living at it “post government.” I use your page as my starting point in this effort.

Keith and Stephen, I know this is said all the time, but there is nothing better about this job than hearing that I am actually helping people to get going in a business that they want to get into. It is honestly so fulfilling!
